Covid-19 Requirements

  • Proof of vaccination

  • 2 doses of COVID-19 approved vaccination.

  • Second dose of vaccine must be within 180 days before the travel date, or a booster dose no less than 14 days before entering the country.

Haram Booking System

  • To control the number of people in the Haram, Umrah, prayers in Makkah and Rawdah have to be booked via an app and are therefore subject to availability

  • A contact tracing app will also need to be installed on your device

  • Smartphone is essential

  • Children are currently not permitted to travel for Umrah

Passport

Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel. Non-British passport holders must have permanent residency, work permit, student visa or settlement visa and must have six remaining months validity on the visa. All passports must be digital (manual passports are not accepted). Special restrictions may apply to passports of certain countries.​
